Curtis Mayfield - SUPERFLY

Curtis Mayfield, The legend himself. As a solo artist in the 1970s, he helped pioneer funk. With a long line of classic tracks, a shit load of hiphop artist have sampled his music over the years. Ice-T did a remake of 'Pusherman' called 'I'm Your Pusher', Geto Boys sampled 'SuperFly' and made the hard hittin' track 'Do It Like A G.O', Master-P did a remake of 'Freddies Dead' called 'Kenny's Dead' for the cartoon movie South Park, Snoop Dogg has 'Give Me Your Love' playing in the backround on the intro for his first release Doggy Style. The list goes on. So if ya looking for some music to chill with ya woman, Smoke up with the boyz or jus struggling on those cold hard nights, There's tracks on here for all those occasions. I threw on a couple of bonus songs that are worth hearing.
